Recently I have been working on a video about my self. In the video I briefly explained a little about myself, background and hobbies. When I completed it I upload it to my blog so I could recieve feed back. I made the video so that people could learn a little bit about me and also to show off my media creativity and also to experiment with the 5 sot rule I previously learnt.
Making the video wasnt as long as I thought it would be. I originally had time limits set for me to have cirtian things done from the log book but I thought it would be a good idea to try and beat those times by giving my self my own time limit with in the original ones in order to make sure I had enough time to edit my video. One of the first thing I done was researched other bio videos so I had a rough idea of what I wanted mine to look like. Then I made a rough script I was going to develop on. As I developed my script I recorded parts of my video at the same time so that I knew what things I could improve on in the script and what would look better.
A few things whent well and some didnt. One thing that definitly went well was the my video timing. I got everything I wanted to recored quicker than I thought I would and edited it quicker than I expected to as well. I also recieved a lot of good feed back but there was one thing that was mentioned that I could have improved on and that was my voice in the video was not loud enough. I also think that I could have spoken more clear in the video as well as raised my voice levels. Over all, people enjoyed my video and gave me really positive feed back so I am happy with my video.
If I was to re do my video I would definitely speak louder and more cleare and maybe add more information and different locations other than just recording around college. I also would have lots more different shots incourperated in my video and probably more titles for the other subjects I would probably go on to talk about. I would also enclude footage of me skatboarding and doing all the other stuff I do as cut away sequences befor talking about a new subject in the video.
